Tiger Beach (Laohutan) Ocean Park at south eastern Dalian houses the largest Polar Aquarium in the world.  And they just debuted two famous cubs that you’ve probably seen all over the internet lately (and if you haven’t – watch below!)

The fluffy twins were born on October 14 in a Chinese polar aquarium. The boys are the second delivery for a pair of polar bears given by Finland to China as symbol of friendship between China and Finland.  Vets believe the cubs were lucky to survive as this is the second set of twin cubs the female has given birth to in the same year.

The venue’s staff say the twins are growing well and will soon be able to walk on their own. Each of the cubs weighs around 10 kilograms and stands 65 centimeters in height.

Adorable.

Since Nate and I will be in China for the next couple of months we may try to go and visit these fellows – what an awesome captive breeding success story!
